Why choose Miss Fox Aesthetics for skin + beauty treatments?
Miss Fox Aesthetics is your safe space for the very best in skin + beauty. There’s no need to apologise for that bushy vjayjay or hairy back, the lumpy - bumpy - wobbly bits, or that spot that’s been bothering you all week. Every-body + any-body is welcome in the Miss Fox studio. We’re not here to make you feel awkward. We’re about body acceptance, embracing it all + making you feel fine.
Where is the Miss Fox Aesthetics studio?
We’re stoked to have a private studio with our Vertu Hair girl gang at 37 Station Street, Napier. Hair, brows, lashes, skin treatments + waxing together? Go on then…
Are all the treatment rooms private?
Our Brow + Lash Bar is nestled amongst the feel-good vibe of the Vertu Hair Salon. But our Waxing Room + Skin Treatment Lounge are ab-so-lute-ly private.
What’s the parking like?
Easy as. There’s plenty of paid parking available on Station Street in the heart of Napier City.
Is the Miss Fox studio disability friendly?
Totally. We’ve said it before + we’ll say it again - Miss Fox is for every-body + any-body. Entrance to the studio is through a large double door. If you’re a new client + need a hand with opening the doors, please pop this in ya booking notes + we’ll be there ready + waiting to welcome you.
You’ll find 3 mobility parks right across the road from our studio on Station Street, Napier City.
When is the Miss Fox Aesthetics Studio open?
6 days a week, pal! Monday: 9.30am - 7pm. Tuesday: 8am - 7pm. Wednesday: 8am - 2.30pm. Thursday: 8am - 2.30pm. Friday: 9.30am - 2.30pm. Saturday: 9.30 am - 2.30pm. Sunday: Closed for rest.
Do you offer a loyalty program?

Hold up - is Miss Fox only for the ladies?
Look, we’re not gonna lie - most people through the studio doors identify as female. But guys, gals + non-binary pals are all welcome here.
Brows + Lashes
What are Henna Brows?
Henna is a natural plant-based alternative for colouring brow hair + creating a temporary skin-stain.
How long do Henna Brows last?
The stain lasts on the skin for 2-10 days to create a bolder, more defined brow. Colour in the brow hair lasts 4-6 weeks + grows out like a permanent hair colour.
What brand of Henna do you use, and why?
Miss Fox uses Elleebana Henna Colour. Henna naturally produces warm-tones but Elleebana includes a range of colours that we custom-blend to suit your skin + hair tones.
What are the benefits of Henna Brows?
Ingredients that nourish + thicken the existing brow hair to strengthen + protect
Reduces flakiness + stimulates hair growth
Lasts longer than a regular brow tint
Amazing coverage on grey hair, + Amla extract to halt premature greying
Skin stain disguises gaps in overplucked or receding brows.
Is Henna Brow colour suitable for microbladed brows?
Yes. Henna Brows are great for microbladed or tattooed brows that have lightened or faded. The Henna attaches itself to the pigment + brightens the appearance of microbladed strokes.
What's the difference between Henna Brows + Brow Lamination?
Other than epic brows that last the distance, it's kinda chalk + cheese. Henna Brows is a premium long-lasting colour, whereas Brow Lamination is all about creating the illusion of fuller + fluffy brows without the commitment of invasiveness of brow tattooing. Brow Lamination is kinda like a perm for your brows + sets them in shape for 6-8 weeks. But instead of curls your brow hair will stay brushed + lifted upwards + sit in a beautiful shape. You still receive a brow colour with Lamination, but it's not Henna.
How long does a regular Brow Tint last?
Most people find the colour of a regular brow tint fades out over 2-3 weeks.
What's the best brow + lash duo treatment?
Book yo'self the MF Works. You'll wake up ready to face each day with this fab treatment option. Lash Lift + Lash Colour + Brow Shape + Brow Lamination + Brow Colour. It's a firm fav in the Miss Fox studio.
What is a Lash Lift?
A Lash Lift is a popular treatment for good reason. Miss Fox uses the ever-popular Elleebana products to lift, define, colour + curl the natural lashes you’ve been blessed with. Your lashes will appear longer, thicker + darker. Goals, right!?!
How long does a Lash Lift last?
A Miss Fox Lash Lift lasts 4-8 weeks + can be repeated every 6 weeks. The Lash Lift curl is even retained after showering + swimming.
What’s better - a Lash Lift or Lash Extensions?
In our humble opinion? A Lash Lift every. dang. time! Let’s work with what you’ve been blessed with. A Lash Lift is less maintenance + doesn’t damage your natural lashes like eyelash extensions.
Do I have to have a Lash Lift if I just want to add colour to my eyelashes?
Short answer. Nope.
Your lashes can be expertly coloured without a Lash Lift. Miss Fox will custom blend the colour to suit your eye colour + skin tone.
How long does a Lash Colour last?
Typically, a Lash Colour lasts 4-6 weeks - depending on your colouring + how much time you spend outside.
Skin Treatments
I’m not sure what Skin Treatment to book…
We take the guesswork out of facials by customising each skin treatment to meet the needs of your skin. Unlike a traditional beauty therapy clinic, there’s no overwhelming list of facial services - you simply choose from Calm, Firm, Bright or Clear skin + book it in. If you’re not sure what’s right for your skin, mention it to your skin therapist + they’ll let you know the best option for you.
How often should I get a MF Skin Treatment?
We recommend monthly skin treatments for optimal results.
Can I come in more than once a month?
Yes! We just recommend that you wait at least 2 weeks in-between skin treatments.
Do you provide consultations for your Skin Treatments?
Every MF Skin Treatment starts with a Face Mapping Skin analysis, an in-depth professional look into your skin + lifestyle to allow us to customise your treatment to the needs of your skin.
Alternatively you can book this as a service on it’s on where we'll show you how to achieve your healthiest skin, address any concerns + give you customised product + treatment recommendations. The cost of a MF Face Map? Is 100% redeemable on product - yeooow!
What products do you use during a MF Skin Treatment?

Are MF’s Skin Treatment rooms private?
Yes, the MF Skin Treatment Lounge is private.
You’ll be welcomed inside, with no need to undress, before sinking into our specialist chair + cozy-ing on down under a luxe weighted blanket. Yes, it’s 30-mins of time away from the world for you. But it’s also the start of calm, firm, bright + clear skin.
Are any of the products you use tested on animals?
Ab-so-lute-ly not!
Are MF Skin Treatments pregnancy safe?
Yup, absolutely. Please make sure to indicate on your intake form (or let your Skin Therapist know) if you are pregnant or breast-feeding, + your custom treatment will be tailored accordingly.
Are MF Skin Treatments for all genders?
All genders are respected, accepted + safe at MF. Guys, gals + non binary pals are all welcome inside the studio.
Is there anything I shouldn’t do before a MF Skin Treatment?
We ask that you stop using active skin care like retinol +/or hydroxy acids at least 3-5 days before your treatment, + wait two weeks after receiving any professional treatment such as laser, fillers, or botox.
Can I get a facial if I have a cold sore?
No. Please wait until the scab has fully shed + the skin behind it has healed.
Can I get a facial if I have eczema?
Typically, as long as you don't have active breakouts or any active flare ups of eczema, sensitivity, or other skin issues, we'll be able to proceed. If you’ve got any questions or concerns about your skin - please reach out to us before booking.
Do you treat the neck, decolletage or back?
No, we only treat the chin up.
What if I have allergies?
You are welcome to contact us before your facial to give us a heads-up on any allergies. Please indicate your allergies on your consultation form and let your Skin Therapist know, + we will work around them.
How old do I have to be to have a MF Skin Treatment?
We currently do not have an age limit, however, a parental consent form is required for any client under 18.
Waxing
How often should I book a waxing appointment?
We recommend you book regular waxing appointments every 4-6 weeks. Regular appointments mean a quicker + more comfortable wax. And, over time – your smooth bits will last longer.
What wax do you use?
Don’t you worry – here at MF we only use the best in the biz. Caron Lab is the wax of choice around here, it’s a superior quality wax with the best ingredients – made in Australia. Wax is not just wax! Cheap, inferior products with poor quality ingredients are the main cause of skin irritation. We’re not here for that.
Is sharing wax safe?
Oh no, we don’t do that! MF has a strict no double-dipping policy. It’s like double dipping chips + dip with a group of strangers. Yuck! Using the same spatula in a wax pot multiple times is not only gross, it’s a huge health risk.
What is a Bikini wax?
A Miss Fox Bikini Wax waxes any pubic hair that sprouts from the crease of your leg to your inner thigh.
What is an extended Bikini wax?
A Miss Fox Extended Bikini Wax reaches a little higher than a Bikini wax – going an inch or two further inwards without reaching the labia or the back.
What is a Brazilian?
A Brazilian wax removes all your pubic hair – front, underneath + right to the back (MF will remove those little tail feathers that you can’t . quite . reach.) You’re welcome to leave a strip or triangle at the front if fully nude isn’t your thing.
Should you trim before a Brazilian Wax?
Nope, no need. Not only is it our job but, the longer the hair, the easier it is to grip the wax + properly remove it from the root.
Does a Brazilian Wax hurt?
Well, it certainly doesn’t tickle. But, with an experienced waxing specialist (that’s us) + the Miss Fox technique it doesn’t have to be painful. You’re in safe hands.
Can you have a Brazilian Wax during your period?
Absolutely. You might be a little more Sensitive-Sally during your period – especially the first few days of menstruation – so it might pay to leave it towards the end. But, there’s no need to cancel your appointment if Aunt Flo turns up.
Can the men of Napier book a Male Brazilian Wax?
Soz mate. Not anymore. Our resident Male Brazilian Waxing Ninja, Marijke, is now on maternity leave. Waxing Treatments for men available at Miss Fox Aesthetics now include Full Back + Shoulders + Chest waxing.
What are Hairy Bits?
They’re those pesky little bits you can’t wait to get rid of. Think lip, chin, ears + nose, toes + snail trail. Yip, Miss Fox tames those too. Hairy bits become smooth bits – yes please!
